THE ROLE :

Our site in Colorado Springs Rockrimmon is seeking a Machine Operator to join our team.

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining UPE Membrane equipment and operation of machines through various tasks such as Extrusion Extraction Annealing Surface Modification inspecting trimming testing and packaging membrane products. Completes other duties as assigned.

HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 6A-2 : 30PM MONDAY-FRIDAY

WHAT YOULL DO :

• Follow all safety rules and protocols at 100 percent adherence.
• Verifies product visually and takes corrective action when necessary. Ensures product is consistent with established specifications. Escalates quality issues as appropriate. Ensures highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality system ISO and / or other standards.
• Perform various operations on the product line in accordance with the work orders and process record instructions.
• Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e. Production Reports Labels Process Records Rework Sheets SAP Transactions etc.). Completes hour by hour sheets on manufacturing products as required.
• Integrates all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction waste elimination growth cost effectiveness and product / system quality. Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities. Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6S Kaizen events etc.
• Perform setup and adjustments according to work instruction specifications.
• Accurately follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate and verify the performance of equipment and make necessary adjustments.
• Use of basic metrology equipment (Scales calipers...) and basic math.
• Prioritize work in accordance with lead / supervisor direction.
• Keep the work area clean and organized. Following all 6S procedures.
• Monitor equipment and production to increase output and make recommendations for improvements.
• Assist staff with preparation and production
• Move products supply and inventory to support production.
• Must be able to read write and communicate in English.
