Field Sales Representative

Field Sales Representative Merchandising

Partner with assigned customers to ensure they have the right products at the right time in the right placement.

Essential Functions :

• Order products that align with the needs of the customer. Responsible for effectively displaying store products.
• Responsible for maintaining effective business relationships with customers.
• Responsible for arriving promptly at customer locations on assigned routes for service.
• Responsible for rotating stock and removing out-of-code products.
• Process merchandise returns and issue credits according to company policy.
• Ensure the neat and orderly appearance of UNFI products.
• Responsible for product and / or delivery notifications to customers.
• Assist in hanging shelf tags and promotional POS / POP materials and resets.
• Sell promotional and sales programs as assigned.
• Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for the location.
• Follow through on customer product requests.
• Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Provides backup for other field sales representatives when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Performs other relevant job duties as required.

Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only : For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate's first year, but United Natural Foods Inc. offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. United Natural Foods Inc.'s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
