Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Quality Engineer to join our team in Wichita, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and proceduresLead quality improvement projects using Six Sigma methodologies and quality core toolsConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issuesPerform internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015 standardsAnalyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and manufacturing processesDevelop and deliver quality-related training programs for team membersCreate and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and reportsParticipate in new product development processes to ensure quality requirements are metMonitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs)Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fieldKnowledge of paint and fabrication is requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar roleProficiency in Six Sigma methodologies and quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)Experience with QMS implementation and maintenance, particularly ISO 9001 : 2015Knowledge of A3 / 8D problem-solving techniquesInternal auditor certification preferredIntermediate-level proficiency in Power BI or similar data analysis toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesExperience with continuous improvement methodologiesFamiliarity with statistical analysis and data interpretationAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectivelyAdditional Information
