Locum Tenens Oncology Physician Near Eugene, OR

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Oncologist and / or Hematologist for a locum tenens position near Eugene, OR. 8-hour days

• Call schedule : 1 : 4, including one weekend per month (primarily handling critical lab calls)
• Workload

10-15 patients per day in a free-standing cancer center

19-chair infusion room with onsite mixing pharmacy

• Support Staff

Nurse navigation, collegial nurse infusion team, radiation oncology onsite

Responsibilities :

• Provide outpatient oncology and hematology care
• Collaborate with the infusion team to ensure high-quality treatment
• Participate in critical lab calls on a 1 : 4 rotation
• Participate in clinical trials and collaborate with other specialists in the center
• Embrace a community-focused healthcare model, working with vulnerable populations

Requirements :

• Board Certification

Medical Oncology and / or Hematology (Board Eligible within 2 years of fellowship)

• State License

Active Oregon medical license or willingness to obtain

• Certifications

BLS required

• Experience

Radiation oncology experience preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply
