Position Summary :

River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, medication management, and crisis intervention. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with a licensed physician and multidisciplinary team to support individuals experiencing behavioral health disorders.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct psychiatric assessments and provide diagnostic impressions.
Prescribe, manage, and monitor psychiatric medications.
Deliver treatment to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health challenges.

Qualifications :

Master’s degree in nursing required.

Board certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health (General or Forensic Psychiatry preferred).

Minimum 1 year of experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment (crisis environment).
