Position Summary
A well-established electronics manufacturer in East Setauket is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day office operations. This is a great role for someone who enjoys a mix of structured tasks and cross-team interaction - and it's an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on bookkeeping experience (no prior bookkeeping background required; full training provided).
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Either 8 : 15 AM-5 : 00 PM or 8 : 30 AM-5 : 00 PM
- 30-45 minute lunch break
Key Responsibilities
Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, document organization , and record maintenanceAssist with light phone coverage (as needed, not constant)Support basic bookkeeping tasks with training providedPrepare and update internal documents, spreadsheets, and reportsCollaborate with coworkers and provide general office support as neededRequired Skills & Qualifications
Prior admin / office experience preferred but not requiredComfortable using Microsoft Office Suite , especially ExcelStrong attention to detail and comfort with routine tasksProfessional, friendly, and able to interact well with coworkersReliable, eager to learn, and proactiveWhat They Offer
