We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager with experience specializing in individual (1040), partnership (1065), corporate (1120), and estate (1030) tax returns. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and possess a gregarious personality that fosters collaboration and enhances client relationships.

Tax Manager Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and review various tax returns, including 1040s, 1065s, 1120s, and 1030s, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
  • Handle complex tax issues and provide strategic tax planning advice to clients.
  • Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide expert guidance.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Online for efficient financial management and reporting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice to clients and the firm.
  • Prepare financial statements and other financial reports as needed.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Tax Manager Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with a focus on tax preparation and compliance.
  • Extensive knowledge of 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1030 tax forms.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online; familiarity with other accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a gregarious personality that thrives in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
