About The Position

✨ Locum Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity – Roseburg, OR ✨

📍 Roseburg, Oregon

🕒 24-Hour Call Coverage (7a–7a)

👶 Level II Nursery + Inpatient Peds + ED Consults

🗓 Seeking Coverage : March – June (Ongoing 2026)

A leading Oregon medical center is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for 24-hour call coverage with rounding responsibilities. This role includes inpatient peds, newborn care, ED consults, and stabilization of critical neonates prior to transfer.

🔥 Position Highlights

🕛 24-Hour Call with 8 Hours Rounding

🏥 Level II nursery, Level I nursery, & small peds unit

👨‍⚕️ Duties : Inpatient peds, newborn rounding, ED consults, neonatal resuscitation, stabilization for transfer

📉 Low census : Avg. 4–6 newborns / day, 0–1 peds

🎯 Minimal callback (avg. 6–8 per shift)

💻 EMR : PatientKeeper (interfaces with Meditech)

🛠 Required Procedures

  • Lumbar puncture
  • Intubations / vent management
  • Umbilical lines
  • Neonatal resuscitation
  • Ability to perform IVIG

(No circumcisions required)

📅 Coverage Needed

🗓 March – June

  • Ongoing coverage likely needed into 2026
  • Must list exact availability at submission

  • Board Certified / Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Active Oregon License
  • DEA
  • Clean malpractice history preferred (needed for emergency cred)
  • Local, drive-in candidates highly preferred
  • Must confirm required procedures completed at least 2 times in last 24 months

    • ⏳ Credentialing

    Expedited credentialing available

    Must provide complete clinical activity on CV
