Sr. Manager, Research & Development

We are pleased to introduce an opening for a Sr. Manager, Research & Development, based in the United States. This is an outstanding opportunity to guide a dynamic team in West Hills, CA, specializing in antigen / antibody-based assay development and innovation. You will evaluate new technologies, improve existing products, and drive process enhancements. Your contributions will directly contribute to our mission to deliver world-class scientific solutions.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead and mentor a team of researchers to develop and innovate antigen / antibody-based assays.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to advance our product offerings.
  • Enhance and improve processes for current products to ensure flawless execution.
  • Collaborate across departments to determine the best strategies for research and development.
  • Provide technical expertise in chromatography, flow cytometry, and protein / cell-based assays.

Keys to Success

Education

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology or related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral experience in the discovery and development of diagnostics or therapeutics, or Master's level education with 8 years of experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of direct people management experience.
  • Extensive experience in the development of assays based on antigens and antibodies.
  • Familiarity with chromatography and flow cytometry techniques.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $143,000.00$170,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and / or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
