Passes Dental Care is looking for a leader who is a talented and engaging individual with an outgoing personality to join our modern, fully digital, patient-oriented dental office as a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist for long term employment.

Description :

We are currently seeking an experienced, patient focused, highly motivated hygienist to join our Dental team. Do you want to take your career to the next level, focusing on the overall health of your patients and on the quality care they receive? You must be proficient with periodontal therapy, sealants, fluoride, impressions, x-rays, zoom whitening, patient management, giving local anesthesia and administering analgesia. Computer literacy is required. You must be as passionate about your profession as we are. Most importantly, you must be a team player.

Key Tasks :

Provide dental health education about tooth care and diet. Treat and help prevent gingivitis and periodontitis. Ensure that sanitary and sterile conditions are always maintained. Clean and sterilize all equipment and working surfaces to the required standards at the end of each session. Maintain patient dental records; update all medical records as necessary. Take all reasonable methods to ensure patient comfort. Understand and identify dental conditions to bring to our doctors' attention.

Requirements :

Current NY State Dental Hygiene License

Current NY State License to administer Nitrous Oxide / Oxygen Analgesia

Ability to Work Office Hours :

• Every other Monday 8 : 00 AM- 5 : 00 PM
• Tuesday and Wednesday 10 : 00 AM 7 : 00PM
• Thursday 9 : 00AM 6 : 00 PM
• Friday 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM
• One Saturday a month 8 : 00 AM- 2 : 00 PM
• One Sunday a month 8 : 00AM-2 : 00 PM
• July-Labor Day Monday Friday off all weekends and Fridays 8 : 00AM -2 : 00 PM

Starting salary $48.00 per hour + depending on experience plus incentives.
