  • Location : Conroe, Texas 77304\n
  • Unit : Orthopedic Surgical Trauma (OST) – 4th Floor\n
  • Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 1 / 5 / 2026 – End : 4 / 6 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 12 Hour Nights (7p-7a)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per schedule\n
  • Number of Positions : 2\n
  • Dress Code : Royal blue scrubs\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360-$1460\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state\n
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience\n
  • Experience with chest tube management\n
  • Trauma nursing experience preferred\n
  • Strong time management and flexibility\n
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus\n

    • \n\nTrauma RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to trauma and orthopedic surgical patients\n
  • Manage chest tubes, traction, orthopedic equipment, IVs, oxygen therapy, tracheostomies, and drains\n
  • Assist with lines and drains procedures\n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Float to Medical Surgical units as needed\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR\n
  • Demonstrate flexibility and excellent time management in a busy clinical environment\n
