About The Position

General Cardiology in Springfield, Illinois

Join a respected academic cardiology department in Springfield, Illinois, as a full-time General Cardiologist. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly engagement in a collegial, physician-led environment. The position is available as the current general cardiologist transitions to an interventional fellowship in mid-2025.

Who You Are

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois
  • Committed to academic medicine, teaching, and patient care
  • Experience with TEE preferred but not required

  • Base Salary : Generous academic salary with additional earning potential
  • Sign-On & Relocation : $10,000 combined allowance
  • Time Off & Support : 5 weeks PTO, 13 holidays, $3,000 CME allowance
