Exceptional Health is a concierge internal medicine practice located in Wellesley, MA. We are seeking an experienced full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, energetic individual who values patient relationships and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Our concierge model emphasizes quality over quantity, allowing providers to deliver detailed, comprehensive, and personalized care in a supportive setting.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in anticipating the needs of patients and physicians. Strong communication skills and the ability to document and deliver care clearly and concisely (both verbally and in writing) are essential. This position is approximately 80% clinical and 20% administrative.
Principal Clinical Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, counseling, and teaching in a timely manner in collaboration with physicians and team members.
- Conduct medical reception tasks : answer directed telephone calls, document appropriately, and relay information as needed.
- Prepare charts for daily patient appointments and comprehensive examinations.
- Schedule and arrange diagnostic tests and specialty consultations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate appropriate lab and diagnostic tests to assess patients? clinical problems and healthcare needs; communicate results to physician and patient.
- Interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Counsel and educate patients on health maintenance, behavior, growth and development.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans; provide education and support.
- Make independent clinical judgments in collaboration with physicians to manage patient needs.
- Provide telephone consultations, follow-up calls, and triage patient calls as appropriate.
- Monitor and provide continuity of care between physician visits.
Required Experience / Abilities / Competencies
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.Current Massachusetts licensure and board certification as a PA-C or NP.Current DEA registration and BLS / ACLS certification.5?7+ years of relevant primary care or internal medicine experience.Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic required).Knowledge of internal medicine procedures, terminology, and workflows.Strong initiative and professionalism, with a focus on high-quality patient care.Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with physicians, staff, and outside providers.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Computer competency with web-based applications.Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.Benefits
