The responsibility of the Crossdock Forklift Operator is to perform general warehouse activities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to : accurately receiving and uploading trailers, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and stretch wrapping of pallets. Shuttling merchandise from receiving to shipping, laydown and storage areas. Loading of product into shipping trailers. Coordinating inbound and outbound storage freight. Sorting and distributing pallets to be utilized within the warehouse. Using hand held units to verify merchandise being distributed. Operating powered equipment including : forklift, pallet jack, tugger and clamp attachments.
