This Opportunity :

Laboratory Technician – Reno

Certerra – Black Eagle Consulting Laboratory Technician assists the Laboratory Supervisor in all aspects of the laboratory testing, including laboratory testing principles, practices and procedures, the ability to perform materials testing on soils and Portland cement concrete, and a demonstrated capability for communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities Include :

Operational Roles

• Clearly and neatly document, in detail, laboratory test results.
• Communicate daily with materials technicians and / or Division Manager.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory testing procedures for soils and Portland cement concrete.
• Perform materials testing on soils and Portland cement concrete.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and a demonstrated capability for time management and organization.
• Properly maintain and calibrate field equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Perform duties in conformance with the requirements of the employee handbook
• Must be able to work occasional Holiday and Weekends
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
