Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a skilled Quality Control (QC) Specialist with 3-5 years of Environmental Monitoring (EM) experience to join a leading pharmaceutical team at its new facility in Montgomery County, Maryland. This role is essential to supporting facility and utility commissioning, as well as ongoing environmental monitoring, in alignment with established quality standards, policies, and procedures.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in aseptic techniques, cleanroom operations, and electronic QC data systems, and thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Responsibilities of the EM Quality Control Specialist Include :
- Conduct viable and non-viable cleanroom sampling in Grade B environments
- Perform utility sampling (e.g., water, gases, steam)
- Operate and maintain QC data systems (MODA preferred)
- Support microbiology lab operations (media preparation, equipment upkeep)
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with EM team to meet commissioning and routine monitoring schedules
