This position involves working within a warehouse environment, handling tasks such as generating manifests, dispatching orders, interpreting warehouse documents, and moving merchandise. You will be responsible for opening cartons, sorting, and relocating merchandise from receiving or production areas to designated locations. The role also includes verifying documentation, organizing merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins, and preparing products for distribution. Under direct supervision, you will receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Responsibilities :

• Generate manifest to dispatch and confirm customer and / or stock orders.
• Interpret warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to designated areas.
• Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity.
• Organize merchandise on racks, shelves, totes or bins according to pre-determined sequence.
• Prepare products for distribution within facilities.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on palettes, shelves, or conveyors to send to packing station or shipping department.
• Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
• Create and enter records for the manifest on warehouse computer system.

Work Environment :

The work environment is fast-paced with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts are used safely. It is a non-climate-controlled warehouse requiring closed-toe shoes. Electronics, including cellphones, are not permitted within the facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
