Job Responsibilities - QA Inspector

  • Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using

measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, vision systems etc.,

  • Discard or reject products, material, and equipment not meeting specifications.
  • Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying

    • and correcting these problems.

  • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary

    • corrective actions.

  • Able to Record inspection data in EXCEL.
  • Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results.
  • Work closely with manufacturing personnel on product evaluation.
  • Perform lot sampling (Visual Inspection) on finished product.
  • Perform periodic in-line inspections of finished product.
  • Write quality procedures as needed.
  • Implement and confirm quality systems for traceability and documentation.
  • Enforce GMP implementation and compliance.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or general education degree required
  • 1 to 3 years or experience in the related field.
  • Entering, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.
  • Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Conducting tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other

    • techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods.

  • Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing work - developing specific goals and plans to

    • prioritize, organize, and accomplish the work.

  • Communication skills - providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates

    • by telephone, in written form, e-mail or in person.

  • Use and understanding of computer interfaced equipment.
