The Packaging Planning Specialist will be responsible to for Planning the most optimal packaging layouts and die costing, keep the tooling library up to date and improving it for a multi-million-dollar global account(s) for many of the world’s most popular playing Card Games, Trading Card Games, and Board Game brands in the world!

What you’ll do as a Packaging Planning Specialist :

• Create the most optimal layouts for packaging designs
• Create digital files, saving and maintaining in tooling library
• Ensure the cost optimization of tooling, including the purchasing of new tools as needed
• Process dye work orders and files
• Review, convert and log NPI CAD Designs to our CMUSA Artios CAD design number inventory
• Maintain the schedule of die processing to align with press schedules
• Monitor and maintain all tool QA
• Communicate with internal teams to support tooling needs and translate them into production
• Confirm all package design testing via NPI approval
• Review and ensure quality with all corrugating details and palletization preparation
• Maintain Tooling library
• Continuously review and ensure the quality and clarity of the manufacturing instructions
• Ensure all tasks align with overall company objectives, and your assigned KPIs
