Carpentry Team Member

The St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking two (2) motivated individuals to join their Carpentry team. These positions are located at the Jefferson Barracks Trades Building 347 CCC Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125. The shift is 1st shift 6 : 00 a.m. 2 : 30 p.m. Monday Friday.

The typical starting salary range is between $23.10 -$27.72 hourly depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience as well as budgetary considerations. Additionally, we offer a competitive benefits package and a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy.

Perform carpentry work in the construction, maintenance or repair of structures and fixtures. Perform preparation work, taping, painting, wall covering installation and wood finishing of facilities. Provide technical expertise and guidance in the area of construction, maintenance support and repair for buildings and facilities. Perform variety roofing repairs / replacement. Perform concrete forming and pouring. Manage supplies and equipment inventories for a designated work area. Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Equivalent to graduation from an accredited technical trade school or completion of an appropriate trades apprenticeship, and four years of experience in building construction, renovation or construction maintenance. Possession of a valid Drivers License.
