Martin Marietta Materials is seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Industrial Electrician. This position will be based in the San Antonio area and will provide support to all aggregate rock mining plants. The primary function of the Senior Industrial Electrician is to maintain, calibrate, perform trouble analysis, consult, research, and develop process control instrumentation for the purpose of obtaining optimum production efficiency.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

• Coordinate all in-house electrical repairs and upgrades, including those related to plant controls for rail operations
• Troubleshoot AC / DC motor controls and drives
• Actively research potential upgrades and fine-tune existing operations to improve safety, efficiencies, plant capacities, consistency, availability and reporting
• Work closely with engineering group and outside contracted vendors to meet deadlines and complete capital improvement projects
• Support corporate safety culture and perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
• Lead by example on all MMM safety rules / procedures and MSHA compliance standards and ensure that all employees are following established safety policies and procedures
• Encourage employees to participate in Guardian Angel activities

All duties require outside assignments and require periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry and dusty. Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs.
