Job Skills / Requirements

HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Flex, Unarmed Security Officers in the Freeport, TX area. Must be available to work all shifts, all days-including weekends with a pay rate of $16.00 / hr, paid weekly.

Requirements :

• Must have Current / Active Texas Level II Security License.
• Must have a Current TWIC card in-hand.
• Must have a Current Driver's License.
• Must have dependable means of transportation.
• Proficiency in computer skills required.
• Must demonstrate excellent writing, oral, analytical and communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and function with limited supervision.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Flex Officer Explanation

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company's operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

Scheduling Expectations

The scheduling parameters and expectations for a flex officer are different from those of an employee assigned to a fixed post. As a flex :

For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company
