job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer with proven Elastic software expertise Proficiency in Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats). Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java (with experience using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch). Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with LLMs, GPTs, prompting, and other language model technologies. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences. Collaborative mindset and comfort working in cross-functional teams. Relevant Certifications such as Elastic Certified Analyst, Microsoft AWS Certified Machine Learning, or similar Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Power Platform experience including Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps UiPath experience. Tableau visualization and data analytics experience Prior experience supporting mission-critical federal environments. YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Modeling & Analytics : Develop predictive and prescriptive models using statistical, machine learning, and deep learning methods. Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and insights from large, complex datasets.
- Elastic Stack Development : Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Beats. Build advanced queries, aggregations, and dashboards in Kibana for business and technical stakeholders. Optimize Elasticsearch clusters for performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Business Intelligence & Visualization : Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights. Create real-time dashboards and monitoring solutions using Kibana and integrated visualization tools.
- Cloud Technology Utilization and Automation : Leverage AWS Cloud services (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda) for data processing, storage, and retrieval. Guide and support cloud modernization of data processes. Use the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, to automate workflows and processes.
- Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with engineers, analysts, and business leaders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. Contribute to data governance, documentation, and best practices for analytics and Elastic platform use.

Clearance : Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active DHS Public Trust, preferably TSA.
