As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout a residential location. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and communication, upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.

Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol to identify and address potential security-related concerns.

Carry and maintain control of authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
