Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Are you an experienced, detail-oriented, and organized personal injury paralegal? If so, you may be the perfect addition to our fast-paced personal injury law firm. In this role, you’ll be responsible for drafting legal briefs, preparing documents such as affidavits, conducting legal research for trial preparation, and ensuring that case files and other essential materials are meticulously organized and easily accessible. Experience in ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records to prepare factual responses for discovery is essential. Additionally, you’ll assist in family settlement discussions and mediation to help resolve disputes and avoid litigation. Responsibilities :

• Familiarity with case management systems, particularly SmartAdvocate, is a plus.
• Knowledge of the personal injury pre-litigation process is a valuable asset.
• Communicate with service providers and insurers to negotiate settlements for liens, bills, and medical expenses.
• Assist attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating client meetings, filing motions, conducting legal research, and managing witnesses.
• Order, review, and summarize medical records to prepare factual responses for discovery.
• Provide support in family settlement meetings and mediation to resolve disputes without litigation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits.
