```Duties```

Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments of patients

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures

Prescribe medications and treatments, including controlled substances, as appropriate

Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team

Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options

Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as needed

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

```Requirements```

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan

Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics)

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting

Proficiency in HCC, ICD-10 coding, and medical terminology

Experience working in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, assisted living, memory care, and individual homes

Ability to perform basic medical procedures

Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate patients, caregivers, and families on health-related topics
