About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations for its Automation and Motion Control segment. This key leadership role is focused on driving operational excellence across a global segment with a significant manufacturing footprint. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the segment's operations strategy, ensuring the delivery of the annual operating plan, and setting and achieving short and long-term safety, quality, delivery, and cost-competitiveness objectives. The role requires a strong execution mindset, the ability to influence and work seamlessly across decentralized organizations, and a proven track record in continuous improvement and operations. The VP will also be a strategic partner in P&L leadership, working with the segment president and leadership team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, with a preference for an advanced degree, and a minimum of 15 years of manufacturing operations experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in best-in-class manufacturing, including multi-site and international exposure, and at least 10 years in leadership positions within continuous improvement and / or operations. Experience in plant turnarounds, footprint consolidations, and a proven track record in the application of various continuous improvement tools is essential. The role demands a leader with strong operational and financial acumen, critical thinking skills, and the ability to lead multiple locations.
