Position Overview

We are hiring immediately for licensed therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) or Registered Interns who can work with ages 7 – adults and are available for afternoon and evening availability (2 PM – 8 PM) at our Pompano Beach or Coral Springs locations.

We seek clinicians proficient in evidence-based modalities such as DBT, CBT, and EMDR who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to diverse populations.

Ideal Candidate:

✔ Florida Licensed Clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) – strongly preferred
✔ Registered Interns – welcome to apply!
✔ Experience working with children (7+), teens, and adults
✔ Minimum 1-year post-independent licensure (preferred but not required)
✔ Familiarity with insurance-based therapy & documentation (a plus)
✔ Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Genesis team
✔ Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
✔ Tech-savvy and comfortable using SimplePractice

Important Requirements:

• In-person availability at our Pompano or Coral Springs locations
• Afternoon and evening availability (2 PM – 8 PM)
• Minimum of 20 clinical hours per week (full-time strongly preferred)
• Cannot own or operate another private practice due to conflict of interest

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and/or family therapy to children and teens (ages 4-18).
• Establish and maintain a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and update them as needed.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to track client progress.
• Collaborate with families when appropriate.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation and adhere to legal/ethical guidelines.
• Follow all state licensing board regulations and ethical standards.
