A company is looking for an Experienced Patient Services Specialist I to provide customer service regarding medical billing from a remote location.
Key Responsibilities
Responds to patient inquiries regarding healthcare accounts receivables and ensures timely and accurate documentation of interactions
Researches and educates patients on outstanding bills, assists with account errors, and discusses options for resolving balances
Maintains confidentiality standards and complies with regulations while meeting quality and productivity expectations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D.; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
Three years of Call Center experience and one year of billing experience
Six months of remote work experience
Strong understanding of the insurance billing process
Technical skills in Microsoft Suite and online payment navigation
