Class A CDL Driver

We are seeking a safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to join our team at LeMay PCR in Frederickson, WA.

PAY AND SCHEDULE :

  • Competitive wages range from $35.00 to $35.50 / HR to start.
  • The schedule will be a four-day workweek with three consecutive days off. The start time will be between 6 : 00 a.m. and 6 : 30 a.m.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Drive a tractor-trailer with a dedicated local route. Manual transmission is utilized in tractor / trailer equipment.
  • Possibility for training on Roll Off.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
  • Ability to perform a physically demanding job, lifting to 50lbs regularly
  • Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

    • WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT :

  • Climbing in and out of the cab up to 40+ times / day.
  • The work environment involves exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, which requires following basic safety precautions.
  • The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and humid conditions, fumes, and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate.
  • Will be working in all weather conditions

    • MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to learn and use interpersonal skills relating to quality customer service
  • As verified by a current MVR / driver abstract, all qualifications as defined under DOT regulation 49 CFR 383.51 must be met.
  • We require at least three years of Class A commercial driving experience, preferably with expertise operating 53' trailers.
  • Clean safety and driving record
  • Able to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to deal with the physicality of the job with no issues.
  • Basic knowledge of truck components to complete pre-and post-trip inspections.
  • Safety Sensitive : YES
