Tax Manager – Construction Focus
Compensation : Up to $150k+ base | 8% avg bonus | $3k-$10k profit sharing
Requirements : CPA required | 5-6+ years tax experience | Construction background preferred
Location : Chicago, IL (Hybrid – Flexible, no set office days)

This role is for someone with construction tax expertise who wants to lead complex engagements, build client relationships, and have a clear path to partnership—without the PE rollup drama.
What You'll Do :
- Lead tax engagements for construction companies, contractors, and developers
- Handle percentage-of-completion, job costing, and construction-specific tax issues
- Develop tax strategies for growing construction businesses and multi-entity structures
- Supervise and mentor tax staff while building your own book of business
- Drive business development in construction, real estate, and related industries
