A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the integrity of financial records through general ledger maintenance and transaction processing
Assist in monthly and year-end close activities and prepare financial statements
Track grant revenue and expenses, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting
Understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and fund accounting
Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks
Strong Excel skills and organizational abilities
