Data Entry Specialist :

ITCO is seeking individuals plugged into politics, government studies or current events. In this role, you will be a key piece of a team that delivers data for a political campaign.

This is a contract role with ITCO for a client’s team. This position is on-site at a location based in Westlake Village, CA.

Candidates will be entering names and addresses into proprietary databases from handwritten petitions. Although we are hiring for a data entry position, Candidates will also participate in the Exceptions workflow, which consists of identifying names that were not automatically matched in the system to voter files. These names will be manually searched, compared, and matched to the voter file. Candidates must be able to contrast and compare, use deductive reasoning, and comprehend search modes / programs, as well as follow multiple state guidelines.

This position is an entry-level role with plenty of room for growth (Sorter, Office Administrator, Checker, Counter, Director’s Administrative Assistant, Scheduler, and Lead Roles)

Minimum Requirements :

• 12k Keystroke minimum
• Touch typist only
• Fluent in reading and writing English, must be familiar with common names and spelling
• Able to read cursive and handwritten
• Computer-savvy and a good understanding of universal computer commands
• Detail-oriented
• Critical thinking
• Basic Math skills
• Data Entry experience is a plus, but not required
