Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves both armed responsibilities and driving duties, allowing you to interact with employees and visitors while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as required by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities, with consideration for the unique environment of a food and beverage production location.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and protect property.
  • Document and report all observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed in response to incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related situations, adapting to changing conditions within the food and beverage facility.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
