Why Join Our Float Pool? Looking for a night shift role that offers variety, challenge, and opportunities for growth? As part of our Internal Float Pool, you'll rotate through the ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Each shift offers new experiences to enhance your clinical skills.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care aligns with established standards and policies. You'll assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness while involving patients and their families throughout the process.

Expect to recognize significant changes in patient conditions, assess ongoing needs, mobilize resources effectively, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care. You will also implement strategies to enhance safety, coordinate discharge plans, apply evidence-based practices, and participate in quality improvements.

Effective communication, feedback, conflict resolution skills, and leadership capability are essential as you work collaboratively within the healthcare environment. Reporting safety events and assisting in corrective actions are crucial components of your role.
