Condo Underwriter

A company is looking for a Condo Underwriter responsible for reviewing documentation for condominium and cooperative projects to ensure compliance with various guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely underwriting of condominium and cooperative projects

Maintain lists of approved and declined projects and manage their expiration dates

Perform legal reviews and determine project eligibility based on financials and guidelines

Required Qualifications

5+ years of project review experience

5+ years of experience with mortgage credit guidelines and policies

5 years of experience with FNMA / Freddie / FHA underwriting guidelines

Experience with investor guidelines

Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA / VA regulations
