LHH Is recruiting a Legal Billing Supervisor for a regional law firm. The legal billing supervisor oversees the daily billing operations of a law firm, managing a team to ensure accurate and timely client invoices. 3-4 days remote. Free parking. Casual dress. Responsibilities
- Supervise staff : Oversee a team of 6 to 8 billing specialists, clerks, or coordinators, providing guidance on daily tasks and performance feedback.
- Manage billing process : Ensure all billing activities, from time entry to final invoice generation, are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with attorneys : Work closely with lawyers and partners to resolve billing questions, coordinate billing for specific clients, and ensure they understand and follow billing policies.
- Resolve issues : Address and resolve complex billing disputes with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Implement policies : Help develop, implement, and enforce firm billing policies and procedures.
- Manage software : Administer and troubleshoot the firm's 3E legal billing software.
- Reporting and analysis : Generate financial reports on billing and accounts receivable for management review.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a legal or law firm billing role. Previous supervisory experience is essential.Education : A bachelor's degree is preferred.Technical skills : Proficiency with legal billing software (e.g., Elite, Aderant, ProLaw, 3E).Soft skills : Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are necessary, as is a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Knowledge : A solid understanding of legal billing processes, accounting principles, and ethical considerations is required.Would you like to learn more about the Legal Billing Supervisor position that LHH Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for in Fairlawn, Ohio?
