Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data infrastructure for public health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Create and manage systems and pipelines for data flow, including ingestion, processing, storage, and security

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data infrastructure supports organizational goals

Implement and maintain ETL processes, optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; Master's or PhD preferred

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or SQL

Experience with big data technologies and frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Flink

Strong understanding of database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases
