Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Daycare Mini Van Driver to join our team! As the Daycare Mini Van Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the mini van while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well-being. The ideal candidate has a NYS Driver’s License and previous experience as a children driver. If you have an impeccable driving record, high safety standards, and enjoy being around children, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and drop off students at designated schools and transport to daycare sites
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the mini van in a safe manner
  • Engage with students in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Monday - Friday : 2pm-5pm
  • Yard inspection for repairs
  • Assist Manager in weekly supplies delivery to Sites for care
  • snow removal from car when needed
  • A lot of down time only three schools for pickup

Qualifications

  • NYS driver license for 5 years plus
  • Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
