As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Pay Rate : $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, escalating issues according to established protocols.
  • Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and directing visitors or staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support the overall security-related needs of the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
