Position : Maintenance Mechanic, HVAC

Work Schedule, Hours per week : Monday-Thursday, 10 hour days, 40 hours per week

Opportunity for hybrid schedule : No

Starting Salary Range : $23.16-$29.97 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary : Install and maintain the mechanical and electrical components of the heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems, such as motors, compressors, pumps, fans, ducts, pipes, thermostats, and switches for Johnson County Community College (JCCC). Install, maintain, and troubleshoot errors on campus fire alarm systems and devices.

Required Qualifications :

• Completes assignments with little supervision.
• May assist less-experienced team members.
• Requires a High School Diploma and 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record to be insured to operate college vehicles.
• Must possess Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal License.
