  • Driver Positions Pay Weekly

\n \n

  • Solo Miles Pay :  $0.55 for per Mile with 2500 - 3000 Miles per Week

    • \n \n

  • Solo Stops Pay :  $19.05 per Stop with 3 - 7 Stops per Week

    • \n \n

  • Nights out : 3 - 4 Times Per Week

    • \n \n

  • Safety Bonus :  Pays You $500 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter

    • \n \n

  • Sign On Bonus :  Pays you $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days

    • \n \n

  • Paid Training

    • \n \n

  • Schedule : Sunday - Friday

  • Deliver SOLO To :  MI, WI, KS, PA, NJ, NY (No NYC), SC, NC, OH, FL, In, KY, TN and GA

  • Tractor Type : Sleeper

    • \n \n

  • Trailer Type :  53' Dry Van, Curtainside

    • \n \n

  • Freight : Touch – Molding and Building Products

    • \n \n

  • Load Securement - Strap and bungee down

  • Cannot accept auto restriction

    Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

    Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age

    • \n \n

  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test

    • \n \n

  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

    • \n \n

  • Pass a DOT physical

    • \n \n

  • Pass a Ryder road test

    • \n \n

  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

    • \n \n

  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :

    • \n \n

  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

    • \n \n

  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

    • \n \n

  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

    • \n \n

  • Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions

    • \n \n

  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

    • \n \n\n

    \n

    Important Note : Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and / or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

    Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines

    • \n \n

  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

    • \n \n

  • Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer

    • \n \n

  • Performs other duties as assigned

    • \n \n\n
