About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to lead and oversee the global financial reporting and technical accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations, providing strategic insights, and maintaining the integrity of financial data to support executive decision-making and organizational growth. This role involves the development and implementation of robust accounting policies and procedures, as well as the preparation of consolidated financial statements with detailed disclosures and performance metrics. The Head will also stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and standards, lead a global reporting team, and collaborate with senior leadership to align reporting activities with the company's strategic objectives.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA or Chartered Accountant certification, and an MBA is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of accounting or auditing experience, including 5 years in a managerial role with global teams, is required. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of IFRS standards, technical accounting rules, and regulatory requirements, as well as strong financial planning and analysis capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills, is essential. The role demands effective team leadership, collaboration, and a high degree of integrity with strong ethical standards. The Head will also be expected to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency of the reporting processes.
