Faculty - Instructor or Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant Program

Carlow University?s College of Health and Wellness is seeking a full-time 12-month non-tenured faculty to join the Physician Assistant Program at the Oakland campus located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

We are seeking a full-time faculty member to serve as Principal Faculty with expertise in physician assistant practice and didactic content specific to the learning needs of graduate Physician Assistant program students. Academic rank, track, and salary are commensurate with educational preparation and experience.

Experience / Qualifications for Physician Assistant Candidates :

• Valid State License and current Board NCCPA Certification as a PA.
• A minimum of a Master?s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) is required.
• Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DSMc, MD, or DO) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of full-time experience working as PA or a Physician.
• Internal Medicine experience required, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations
• A minimum of two (2) years? teaching experience in an academic or clinical setting.
