Hiring Range Hourly Position About this Position The Engineer Supervisor will oversee the planning of day-to-day operations of Building Engineers. Oversee operations to include time record keeping, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc. Responsible for the coordination of outside vendors and contractors in relation to the operation and maintenance of boilers, chillers, motors, heat, refrigeration, ventilation, air conditioning and electrical power for all buildings on campus. Direct contact with various vendors to repair HVAC equipment, fire alarm equipment and boiler / chiller equipment. Maintain meticulous records to include pressure vessel inspections, elevator inspections, sprinkler pipe inspections, fire alarm testing and inspections, gas leak inspections, Ark flash inspections, air change reports and hot water tank inspections. Direct contact with staff, faculty, and students to provide constant comfortable temperatures within the work area. Required Qualifications High School / GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Certifications, Registrations, and / or Licenses : City of Tulsa, First Class Stationary Engineer Unlimited License Valid driver’s license Skills, Proficiencies, and / or Knowledge : Knowledge of HVA / C, boilers, chillers, FCU's, VAV's, AHU's, Operating systems, preventive maintenance, Excel, Word, Access Lab requirements OSHA Standards, Basic carpentry, elevators, plumbing, electrical, lighting Preferred Qualifications Associate's Engineering field, management, business 10 years + Facilities Experience with at least 5 of those years in a supervisory roll Certifications, Registrations, and / or Licenses : Mechanical Journeyman or Contractor
