About The Position

We are seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Nov 24, 2025. This opportunity offers 24-hour call coverage for cardiovascular and trauma services, including weekday and weekend shifts. The assignment requires full cath lab capabilities and a range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures.

  • Schedule : 24-hour call coverage; Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday; coverage for cardiovascular and trauma services

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide full cath lab capabilities
  • Perform aneurysm repairs
  • Conduct thoracic surgery procedures
  • Execute arterial bypass procedures
  • Manage peripheral vascular procedures
  • Complete abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repairs
  • Perform bypass surgery
  • Deliver cardiothoracic surgical coverage for cardiovascular and trauma services

  • Must have an active Michigan medical license
  • Board certification required
  • Must be internally credentialed with the agency
  • No malpractice history; clean background required
  • Candidates local to Michigan are highly preferred
  • All qualifications must be clearly noted at time of submission
