Patient Care Tech - Apprenticeship Program

Hourly Pay Range : $17.00 - $23.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights :

• Position : Patient Care Tech Apprentice
• Location : Elmhurst Hospital
• Full Time : Training is 4 weeks; 40 hours / week, after training PCT's are 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm OR 7pm-7am / 3 shifts per week including rotating weekends and rotating holidays
• Hours : Day Shift for first 4 weeks then Day and Night Shifts Available
• Required Travel : Yes, first 4 weeks of training may be at multiple locations (Naperville / Elmhurst / Warrenville)

What Are The Key Expectations Of Program Participants?

The PCT Apprenticeship program is a partnership between Edward and Elmhurst Hospitals and Valparaiso University that consists of a 4-week on-site certified nursing assistant program onsite at our Warrenville Corporate Center and hospital campuses. Participants will be paid during the entire training period. Upon completion of the course and passing the Certified Nursing Assistant exam, participants will be promoted to a PCT role (with a higher salary) at either Edward Hospital or Elmhurst Hospital.
