Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker and contribute to the assembly of high-quality polymer insulators. We offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, providing flexibility and the opportunity to enhance your skills through cross-training in different roles.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line assembling polymer insulators with precision and efficiency.
• Perform basic crimping tasks; training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
• Effectively use hand tools or power tools in various tasks; prior experience is preferred.
• Engage in cross-training to learn and perform various roles within the production process.
• Efficiently operate molding machines to produce high-quality polymer insulators.
• Perform packaging and assembly tasks, ensuring products are packed and assembled according to company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure all products meet required specifications and standards.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled production facility that can be very hot during summer months. Employees are allowed to keep water at their workstations to stay hydrated. Shifts are available for 1st (7am-3 : 15pm), 2nd (3pm-11 : 15am), and 3rd (11pm-7 : 15am) shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 / hr.
