QA Testing Senior Analyst

Job Responsibilities :

Provide advanced professional input to complex Q&A assignments / projects.

Assist in the preparation and conduct of Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new or modified applications / systems across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server).

Participate in the analysis and development of new or revised QA procedures and processes.

Assist in the preparation and conduct of QA reviews and the development of test plans and test scripts.

Provide help desk support to client and IT technical staff in resolving QA process or procedure questions and required documentation.

Participate in the review of QA procedures and processes and the development of QA metrics for assessing the quality delivered application software or systems.

Assist in design and implementation of QA software and systems and the development of effective testing plans through consultation with clients and IT technical staff.

Support and provide direction to more junior professionals. Works autonomously, only requiring “expert” level technical support from others.

Exercise judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.

Utilize in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Quality Assurance & Testing.

Skills and Experience Required :

Required :

5+ years’ experience testing Oracle PL / SQL, Oracle Forms / Reports

Expertise in applying agile methodologies and principles to software testing, ensuring efficient and effective testing practices throughout the development lifecycle

Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing test management tools such as Jira to effectively plan, track, and manage testing activities, ensuring seamless collaboration, and streamlined workflows

Strong experience in System Integration and end to end testing

Experience and continuous testing mindset in CI / CD environment.

Experience in Test management tools like Jira, HP ALM.

Solid analytical skills, highly organized, self-motivated and a quick learner

Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessary

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
