As the Senior Manager of US Marketing for PAVBLU, Amgen's biosimilar to Eylea (aflibercept), you will contribute to both the strategy and execution of a brand operating in a highly competitive, rapidly evolving, and promotionally sensitive retina marketplace. PAVBLU requires a strong commercial presence grounded in deep customer insight, thoughtful strategy, and impactful engagement, all of which ultimately supports better care for patients living with serious retinal diseases.
In this role, you will help shape the brand strategy while serving as the engine behind day-to-day execution- translating insights and strategic direction into meaningful customer-facing resources, peer-to-peer programs, field pull-through, and congress engagement. You will also play a central role in managing MAC review processes, agency coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure flawless delivery across PAVBLU's high-volume 2026 tactical slate. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams, field leadership, agencies, and retina experts to advance PAVBLU's priorities and ensure it achieves its full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy and Execution
Contribute to the development of PAVBLU's brand strategy by integrating insights, competitive intelligence, and customer needs into strategic recommendations and prioritization discussions.
Translate strategic direction into clear workplans and coordinate the execution of multiple initiatives across digital, congress, and field channels.
Develop, update, and refine promotional resources, including detail aids, digital content, and field resources, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong alignment with brand strategy.
Serve as the day-to-day execution engine for PAVBLU by converting strategic direction into clear tactical workplans and coordinating the execution of multiple concurrent initiatives across digital, congress, and field channels.
Support the annual brand planning process by contributing tactical and strategic recommendations, integrating cross-functional inputs, and operationalizing priority initiatives throughout the year, including pull-through of segmentation-based messaging and updates.
Manage executional workflows for PAVBLU's high-volume 2026 tactical slate, ensuring disciplined project management, agency coordination, and on-time delivery across all assigned activities
Monitor KPIs for owned tactics to assess impact and support data-driven decisions on resource and time allocation.
Peer-to-Peer Activation
Build and operationalize the PAVBLU Speaker Bureau, including speaker identification, contracting, onboarding, training, deck creation, and content update to help increase clinical confidence among retina specialists who may be hesitant to adopt biosimilars
Establish the foundation for peer-to-peer engagements by developing deployment processes, support materials, and integration of Amgen best practices that enable high-quality scientific exchange
Develop and execute advisory boards with retina specialists and practice administrators to gather market insights that inform strategy, messaging evolution, and resource development.
Lead components of congress strategy and execution, including where necessary, planning and prioritizing congress presence, booth or footprint logistics, cross-functional alignment, advertising / promotional opportunities in order to meet customers where they are
Ensure all peer-to-peer and congress initiatives are compliant, field-ready, and aligned with PAVBLU's objectives.
Field Enablement & Pull-Through Excellence
Manage the PAVBLU sampling program, including monitoring inventory and usage, ensuring compliant execution, addressing field inquiries, and overseeing the sampling budget.
Develop high-quality field resources, training materials, and semester meeting content that convert brand strategy into practical, actionable execution.
Partner with the training team and field leadership to ensure consistent, confident customer engagement across the field force.
Integrate field insights ad hoc or as part of FIT team meetings into tactical refinement, serving as an advisor to the field on brand messaging, resources, and execution needs to ensure materials remain relevant, competitive, and customer-centered.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & MAC Process Execution
Bring strong foundational MAC experience to lead, manage, and streamline end-to-end promotional review cycles with excellence.
Own submission routing, revision cycles, stakeholder engagement, and timeline management for promotional materials.
Anticipate MAC feedback needs to streamline cycles, improve clarity, and ensure compliant, high-quality promotional assets.
Partner effectively with Medical, Access, Legal, Regulatory, CD&A, and other cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and support integrated execution across all PAVBLU initiatives.
Operational Management (Budgets, Agencies, Timelines)
Manage day-to-day program budgets for responsible tactics, tracking spend, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring alignment with brand priorities.
Oversee agency partners and vendors to ensure aligned priorities, strong execution quality, and timely delivery.
Maintain operational excellence by proactively managing timelines, workflows, and cross-functional coordination.

Basic Qualifications :
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and / or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing / Sales commercial organization in the pharma and or biotech industry

Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and / or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing / Sales commercial organization in the pharma and or biotech industry
Or
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and / or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing / Sales commercial organization in the pharma and or biotech industry
Or
Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and / or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing / Sales commercial organization in the pharma and or biotech industry
Or
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and / or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing / Sales commercial organization in the pharma and or biotech industry
Preferred Qualifications :
Strong marketing acumen with experience translating brand strategy into high-quality HCP-facing promotional tactics, resources, and field-ready tools.
Experience developing and executing speaker programs, peer-to-peer initiatives, or advisory boards with familiarity in opinion leader identification and collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners, including Medical, Access, Legal, Regulatory, CD&A, and Training, to drive aligned and timely execution.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret insights, assess performance of owned tactics, and recommend data-driven refinements.
Proven project management capability in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clarity in presenting complex information.
Experience engaging with field teams or serving as an advisor on resources, messaging, or tactical execution; comfort integrating field insights into tactical refinement.
Ability to influence without authority, build strong relationships within a matrix organization, and drive alignment across stakeholders.
Creative, proactive, and solutions-oriented problem solver with strong attention to detail and commitment to flawless execution.
Experience working with creative agencies to develop promotional resources and digital assets.
Passion for serving patients, strong ethical judgment, and commitment to scientific rigor and operational excellence.
Prior experience in ophthalmology / retina and / or biosimilars preferred but not required.
